Itinerary

DAY 1: ARRIVAL (DEC 13)
  • Arrival at Mandalay International Airport
  • Transfer to the Hotel
  • Take pictures of people walking a teak wood bridge (U Bein bridge) in Mandalay at sunset
DAY 2: MANDALAY- BAGAN ( DEC 14)
  • Take photos of fishermen throwing nets near U Bein Bridge at Sunrise
  • Breakfast at Hotel
  • Check out hotel after breakfast at early am and take private bus to Bagan (5 hrs drive)
  • Check in Hotel at Bagan on arrival
  • Taking photos of novices or nun inside an ancient temple of Bagan
  • Shoots photos of palm-tree climbers with the background of Bagan Temples during sunset
DAY 3: BAGAN ( DEC 15 )
  • Get up early morning and shooting sunrise photos of Bagan
  • Taking photos of novices inside an ancient temple of Bagan
  • Take photos of traditional kitchen with old couple (also portraits)
  • Shooting setup photos of local people’s life style at sunset
  • Take photos of people working with bullock-cart wheels
DAY 4: BAGAN ( DEC 16 )
  • Get up early morning and shooting photos of local people working at sunrise in Bagan
  • Take photos of people walking along the corridor of Shwesigone pagoda
  • Taking photos of novices inside an ancient temple of Bagan
  • Take photos of local people herding cows at sunset with background of Bagan’s temples
  • Take photos of Bagan’s sunset
DAY 5: BAGAN-INLE LAKE ( DEC 17 )
  • Check out hotel at early morning to take private bus to Inle Lake (approx. 8 hrs drive)
  • Photo shooting at Shwe Yan Pyay old monastery with novices on the way.
  • After that, we will take boat ride (1 hr) to Inle Lake.
  • Check in hotel.
  • At evening, sunset shooting with Intha fishermen.
DAY 6: INLE LAKE ( DEC 18 )
  • Get up early morning and sunrise shooting with Intha fishermen.
  • Continue to take photos of colorful cotton and colorful textile threads till lunch time.
  • At afternoon, shooting lifestyle photos of Fisherman and children with smoky environment at the mangrove forest.
  • Shooting sunset at Intha fishermen with their boats at a beautiful location.
DAY 7: INLE LAKE ( DEC 19 )
  • Get up early morning and take photos of floating market (setting) during sunrise.
  • Take portraits of local people
  • Take photos of traditional kitchen house at Inle Lake at the afternoon
  • Sunset shooting with fishermen family.
DAY 8: INLE LAKE - MANDALAY ( DEC 20 )
  • Check out and be ready at 5 AM early morning
  • Take private bus to Mandalay International Airport (approx. 7 hrs)
  • Departure from Mandalay International Airport

  • MDSLR/Mirrorless and tripod

  • Zoom lens 24-70mm
  • Zoom tele lens, example 70-200mm
  • Recommend to bring very long tele lens like 150-600 mm lens for shooting landscape in Bagan
  • Remote control
  • Memory card, camera batteries (backup)
  • Electric plug, C/F adapter

Clothes

  • Insulated jacket (the temperature is cold at night and early morning, about 19~22 degrees Celsius)
  • Normal wear for dinner and lunch

 Cash

  • The currency of Myanmar is Kyats (MMK). We suggest you prepare your local USD and I will arrange for changing money to MMK,
  • Myanmar food is generally cheap, so you won’t need a lot of cash for the trip. We recommend 200 USD/person for food and drink during the trip

Within 2 working days of booking, you will be contacted to confirm your booking; with a request to deposit of 1100 USD  through direct bank transfer.

The rest of payment to be settled through via bank payment at least one month before the tour starts.

Cancellation INFORMATION

Cancellation of service before departure

You have to give 90 days’ notice before the beginning date of the tour and you will be refunded your full deposit payment minus transaction charges.

75 days or more: 75% refund

60 days or more: 50% refund

Less than 60 days: no refund

Cancellation of service in case of force majeure

In case of force majeure such as natural disasters, hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, volcanoes, wars, terrorism, epidemics. In order to ensure the safety of the trip, we reserve the right to unilaterally cancel the committed service. We will refund 100% of the tour cost that the customer has paid. We will not be responsible for related costs (e.g. travel expenses, airfare…).
